Don't overcomplicate matters. Sometimes light is simply required in a dark space. So if you are drawn to something or someplace that did not turn out as well as you had hoped, but you were absolutely drawn there and cannot understand what the lesson was for you, just remember that it may simply have been that your light was required. Now let it go.
